Just an interesting pic i took of 2 of my own artdolls, Theres something about using dolls as photography models that i just love.
My original Doll sculpts i do in Chavant clay, from that i pull silicone molds and cast in a custom resin mix, i then drill my parts hollow and string with elastic (my dolls are completely poseable) i sand down the seams then paint on the makeups. The eyes are 17mm handmade masterpiece silicone eyes, their wigs are made from synthetic fibers, and their clothes are by Dreux Priore, and their shoes are made by Dollheart of Hong Kong.
I thought it was a Super Dolfie at first glance, but just... Wow O____O.
Q-Q That's amazing! Making the molds yourself and all and gaaah! Just reading the proccess you go through makes my head hurt, I seriously can't ever do something so detailed like that. Kudos to you - 'cause this is seriously something very grand and great to see!
((And I'm terribly sorry I can't give you a decent critique ><)
Everything on my guys is made from scratch, except the boots and eyes to be honest with you when i think of how many molds i had to make to get these guys done it gives me a headache haha
These pieces are truly beautiful. Your style is very very unique
You should do a sexy Sandman doll. The black haired goth guy in the pic above looks very much like him.
wow. you dolls are interesting. especially the female one in this picture.
you should realy make dolls for store windows.. i think that'll be a pretty successful business.
