This is a piece Ive been working on in my free time for over a year, whenever someone would visit my workshop they would ask "what is the little heart for?"
I actually intended to finish it before last valentines day but i couldn't come up with a backdrop i really liked so i put everything away and forgot about it,.. finally i cut out a large wooden heart and started hammering nails into it, (angst anyone?) I liked the way it looked so i decided to use it as a background.
I sculpt my dolls in Chavant clay, from that i pull silicone molds and cast in a custom resin mix, i then drill my parts hollow and string with elastic (my dolls are completely poseable) i sand down the seams then paint on the makeups.
I made the dead rose vines from bark wrapped wire, dried roses, the thorns were made from sculpey. the heart hes holding i made from sculpey premo..
I added a setup photo to my scraps bin so you could see how I took the pic. heres a link to it --------> [link]

This handmade, poseable custom doll is completely wonderful in details, concept and mood. *BishonenHouse is extremly skilled and the presentation is just fantastic. Would you accept his heart as The Gift for Valentine's Day? (

Yea, Its all real and handmade by myself the only digital effect is the slight lightening around the heart i did after i took the photo,..im glad you like it,..thanks for the fave!
You give life to these dolls like none other. They become something other than just a doll, they ARE the model, more lifelike than some human models...another great work, cheers!
